ABOUT THE ROLE As the Cyber Security specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, confidentiality and availability of our organisations information systems.
You will develop and implement robust security policies and standards across our IT (Information Technology) infrastructure and co-ordinate certification and accreditation programs to meet strict security requirements. As a trusted adviser you will provide guidance on security matters for various projects and initiatives, ensuring security considerations are integrated throughout their lifecycles. This role is integral to safeguarding our digital assets and infrastructure against evolving cyber threats. You will contribute to security framework designs and actively participate in the development and execution of IT security strategies alongside senior management and relevant partners to effectively identify and mitigate risks. Knowledge and experience of information security principles, including risk assessment and management, threat and vulnerability management, incident response, and identity and access management. Passion for cybersecurity across all aspects of people, processes, and technology. Ability to think like an attacker while acting as a defender. Excellent technical problem-solving and analytical skills. Technical proficiency with security related systems and applications. Knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and associated network protocols and concepts. Effective communication skills in formal and informal settings, including presentations from C-level to shop floor, and proficient in written and spoken interactions.
