Job Description

What you will do

In this role you will provide support to the team and management of the Service Delivery Centre. The role is responsible for ensuring customer service solutions are delivered, measured and reported and all opportunities are acted on to achieve the highest standard of shared service delivery.

What we need

We are seeking a person with experience of delivering a high level of customer service. You have excellent administrative knowledge which covers a range of support functions and you are a great on the job trainer. Prior experience of supervising a team is essential.
Being an exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skills you can build and maintain strong working relationship across a diverse range of people. As a seasoned administrator you have strong computer skills, in particular you are fully conversant with the Microsoft Office Suite, any exposure to SAP is a definite advantage.

Who we are

The Service Centre is the “front office” of the Defence Shared Services and acts to give personal service to NZDF customers, provides accessible and timely responses to requests for service and acts as a conduit to the Defence Shared Services National Service Centre and is the key point-of-contact between these groups and operational commanders, output owners and business owners to ensure effective delivery of Base support unit functions to operational commanders and other users. This may at times include 24/7 delivery considerations.

most preferably a NZ citizen, whohas resided in this country continuouslyfor at least the lastfive years, OR
is a citizen of,and/or has resided continuouslyin one or more of the following countries for the lastfive years: either Australia, Canada, NZ, the United Kingdom (UK) or the United States of America (USA);andhas a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) towards a recommendation of suitability for a security clearance at this level.
If you do not meet these minimum criteria, we will not be able to accept your application.
