Job Description:

eBay is seeking a remote Customer Support Officer to join our team in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. As a part-time Associate Level position, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support and assistance to eBay users. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service and a solid understanding of e-commerce platforms.

Responsibilities:- Responding to customer inquiries and issues via email, chat, and phone in a timely and professional manner- Resolving customer complaints and concerns with a focus on providing high-quality service- Troubleshooting technical issues related to eBay's platform and guiding users through problem-solving steps- Educating customers on eBay's policies, procedures, and services- Collaborating with other team members to ensure a cohesive customer support experience- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions- Providing feedback to management on customer trends and issues- Adhering to company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:- Reliable and confident personality traits- Strong research skills to effectively address customer inquiries and issues- Excellent presentation skills to communicate effectively with customers- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in an e-commerce or tech industry- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team- Proficient in using customer support software and tools- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
