Our Mico Albany store is a busy and growing branch, providing trade solutions to a loyal trade customer base, including home builders and the local business sector. Mico New Zealand is a top supplier of plumbing and bathroom products to the trade, retail, and commercial sectors, with 70 branches and around 550 employees throughout New Zealand. The role: We have an exciting role, where you'll join a busy Albany branch and enjoy the variety and opportunities of working with a supportive and welcoming team within a large organisation.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is a varied role that will see you involved in sales on the Trade Counter and managing Inventory in our Inwards Goods area. You will be responsible for accurately checking and receipting product within our inwards goods area. Organising products and ensure deliverers and put in the correct place. Ensuring all products returns, repairs or warranty claims and processed and followed up on. Any stock discrepancies are dealt with in a timely fashion.
Working behind the Trade Counter, you'll ensure that our customers, who are made up of tradies, businesses and homeowners, are greeted with a cheerful smile and exceptional service. The greatest focus of our teams is to work together with our customers to support them to keep their businesses on the go!
This is a permanent, full-time role, working Mondays - Friday 42.5 hours a week and working one Saturday a Month (8am-12pm). About you: To shine in this role, you'll bring your customer-focused attitude, sales experience, and great work ethic to the business. We are looking for someone with a real passion for working with people and be solution focused. Our Albany team work collaboratively and so your strong teamwork and interpersonal skills are essential to this role. The ability to build rapport and relationships should be your strength and you'll be IT savvy too. There will be manual handling required and so you'll need to be physically fit and be Health and Safety conscious.
A current Full Class 1 drivers' licence is also required. Forklift licence is preferred but not essential for this role.
