Stratford District Council is recruiting for a front of house superstar to support the Customer Service Team for a fixed term of up to 12 months to cover parental leave.
You will be responsible for front line customer service including over the counter, by email and by phone. There will be general administrative tasks associated with the service centre including booking of facilities and accepting and receipting payments from customers.
You will take pride in the presentation of the customer service areas and work hard to create the ultimate customer experience for all. You will deal with complaints and compliments and work hard in ensuring you have the knowledge to give advice and instruction on services provided by the council.
This is fixed term/ part time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week. The salary range for this position is $27.00 to $28.00 per hour with the appointed starting level dependent on the skills and experience of the candidate.
This role will be located at the Stratford District Council, Miranda Street, Stratford.

About You You will be a professional positive person who is a quick learner and great with people. You will be confident with Microsoft Office products and have previous customer service and cash handling experience.
You will work well in a team environment but also on your own and will enjoy looking for continuous improvements for systems and processes.
Council is a diverse organisation and a general understanding of what it is responsible for and what is provided within our facilities would be an advantage.
