The role

You would be working within a friendly and busy contact centre team for a well-known New Zealand charity.

This role will require you to speak with a range of potential customers. You will be providing prompt customer service, inputting information into computer systems, and where required contacting other services and teams to provide further assistance to the customer.

This role requires you to have a great phone manner, strong emotional intelligence, be tech savvy, and quick to act in high-pressure or stressful situations.

You will be working for a well-known New Zealand organisation with charitable status. This organisation is a major employer and are known for their positive contributions to the community and to the lives of individual New Zealanders.

Hours and shifts

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week).
Your hours would be rostered across 7 days - Monday-Sunday 8am-8pm
The start date for this role is Monday 23rd March 2020.

To apply you for this role, you must:
Be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or have a valid open work visa;
Be able to pass a Police Check (no criminal convictions);
Have proven customer service experience (e.g. in contact centres, hospitality, retail, reception etc. - please note previous contact centre experience is NOT required for this role);
Be able to work under high pressure or stressful situations;
Be an excellent spoken and written communicator;
Be technically apt, and able to pick up new technology and systems quickly and accurately; AND
Have a strong work ethic, enjoy helping people, and be a committed team player.
