Westlake Boys is a state secondary school for boys in Forrest Hill on the North Shore in Auckland, New Zealand. More information about our school can be found here: Do you have experience coaching cricket and rugby to a high level? Our Academy of Sport / High Performance Sport are looking for an exceptional individual to join their team of coaches, most who are previous professional players in their code. This is a full time position at 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday and will involve some work on the weekends. Your primary purpose will be to support the Academy of Sport and High Performance Sport Departments in coaching and developing our young and senior players in cricket and rugby. You will work with the Academy of Sport and High Performance Sport teams applying your knowledge of adolescent development to create tailored coaching strategies for each code. You will also be required to oversee other areas such as budgeting and pastoral care of players, as well as providing support to the Future Sports Programme (this programme is for boys with future aspirations to work in the sports industry). We are seeking someone who: Has relevant coaching qualification or at least three years' full time experience at playing and/or coaching at an elite level. Knowledge of adolescent development and how this may impact on young men's performance in sport at various ages. An organised and structured approach to tasks. A professional and friendly manner. Has excellent communication skills (both verbally and written). Commitment to the school's values and an ability to relate positively with young adults as well as work collaboratively with colleagues.                                                                   Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa, and meet ANZSCO 452317.   Remuneration will be in line with experience and is expected to be around $75,000.00 to $80,000.00pa. We are an AEWV employer and will fulfil our AEWV obligations.
