The Credit Risk Systems team supports BNZ to deliver the infrastructure, processes and artefacts required to meet our credit risk weighted asset calculations and capital reporting obligations. We are trusted advisors to our customers and use our expertise and solution orientation to drive the right outcomes.
About the Role
As a Credit Risk Systems Analyst, you'll asses the suitability of risk systems in terms of their intended outcomes and act as a change agent by identifying and implementing systems design improvements. This is a key enabler to being able to deliver high-quality systems to business users, ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Highlighting systems limitations and engaging with systems owners to scope the change requirements.
Interpreting business system requirements and writing the technical documentation to ensure compliance with the capital calculation standards.
Identifying, understanding and planning for existing systems change or planned systems, and ensure that the technical requirements are properly integrated with existing processes.
Assisting with credit risk systems Implementation and testing
About You
To be successful in this role you'll, have previous experience building and writing business system requirements and having working knowledge with the programming language SQL.
Additionally, you'll also have:
working knowledge of different operating systems, hardware configurations, software and hardware platforms.
the ability to draft and interpret technical documentation.
a logical approach to problem solving.
strong written and verbal communication.
Good people skills with an ability to influence and foster collaboration.
