This is a challenging but highly rewarding role ideally suited to a careers professional or someone with a background in tertiary education who is keen to branch out. We are primarily looking for someone passionate about helping people into sustainable and meaningful employment.
ArtsLab provides professional development and career guidance for creatives who are registered with Work and Income and on the Job-Seekers benefit. Previously known as PACE (Pathways to Arts and Cultural Employment), we are Aotearoa New Zealand's longest running creative employment service.
We aim to help our clients find employment by building their resilience and confidence as well as imparting lifelong personal and professional skills. To do this we offer a robust and engaging programme that includes workshops, mentoring (with external industry experts) and career coaching in a safe and enjoyable environment.
