This alliance has been set up to plan, organise and deliver much of the recovery and rebuild work needed on the highway and rail networks, together with local businesses and contractors across Te Tairawhiti (Gisborne) and Te Matau a Maui (Hawke's Bay).Our alliance members include Waka Kotahi, KiwiRail, Downer, Fulton Hogan, and Higgins.We are now looking for an experienced  Cost Control Manager  to lead and manage the Monthly Cost Review process, providing clear concise accurate reporting on the status of the programme relating to costs, including timely escalation of cost overruns.What we need from you:Currently in a Cost Control role with a minimum of 5 years' experience, working across major infrastructure projects with a value greater than $250+mil preferred.A Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar relevant qualification preferred.Strong user of the full CCS Candy suite preferred.Strong commercial, contractual and financial acumen.Advanced MS Excel skills; Experience with ERP systems like Jobpac, JDE or similar and demonstrates ability to learn and adapt to new software and agile processes.Highly organised with an innate ability to problem solve.Proactive, organised and hands on approach with the ability to work well as a team and on own initiative.Ability to influence and facilitate difficult discussions, handle conflict and work under pressure.Excellent interpersonal skills that enable the building of effective relationships with key personnel, including supporting teams at the senior management levelStrong stakeholders focus and ability to communicate professionally and effectively at various levels, building strong relationships both externally and internally.Confidence in estimating costs and evaluating options to enhance cost control, leading to outstanding results that demonstrably add value.Proven leadership skills.Ability to champion and promote Alliance principles and influence others.Promotion of high levels of collaboration, connectivity and standardised work practices.This role can be based from our Napier, Gisborne or Auckland Offices.We encourage you to apply by sending your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications to ******'ll be needing more people as the project work develops so reach out if you have an interest in joining TREC in the future.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?How many years' experience do you have as a Cost Controller?Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
