We offer fully paid training, starting with a one-week induction at Manawatu Regional Prison, followed by 5 weeks of training at our National Training Centre in Trentham, Wellington, and then 5 weeks back at Manawatu prison before graduating. Your learning journey will continue with professional practice and development support, along with a clear pathway to career progression.
In return you'll get opportunities for professional development, promotion and the ability to gain a recognised qualification in Offender Management.
This role is based at Manawatu Prison.
Starting salary of $65,019.Once in the role you have the opportunity to achieve national qualifications of varying levels which increase your salary. Level 3 ($69,697) and Level 4 ($75,213)
You also receive a Variable Shift Allowance in addition to your salary.
