To be eligible you need:
The right to work in New Zealand or a work visa with at least 12 months remainingA full New Zealand Driver Licence (or eligible on a Restricted with 3 or less months left to obtain Full, or a Full International Licence)To declare any conflicts of interest and previous convictions. We offer fully paid training, starting with a one-week induction at Hawkes Bay Regional Prison, followed by 5 weeks of training at our National Training Centre in Trentham, Wellington, and then 5 weeks back at Hawkes Bay before graduating. Your learning journey will continue with professional practice and development support, along with a clear pathway to career progression.

Starting salary of $65,019.Once in the role we have 4 competency levels where you are able to increase your salary, with the highest being $75,213.
You also receive a Variable Shift Allowance in addition to your salary.
