As a Copywriter for a fast growing Tech consumer brand based in Queenstown, you will create content that makes complex things simple! Your words will help define a brand, ensuring the customers receive a clear human and educational experience.Writing copy for a variety of areas including; brand campaigns, video scripts, product pages, social, digital, web content and more you will focus on clarity of message, brand and customer acquisition. You will be an excellent brand storyteller and be passionate about writing content that is easily understandable.
Reporting directly into the Creative Director, you will be an important part of this challenger consumer brand. In this smart, established Tech business you will be encouraged to bring not just your copywriting and brand experience, but your strategic mindset and your opinion. The workplace has a collaborative mindset and truly aim to hire talented people who can build their careers longer term in the organisation.Located in Queenstown- in a stunning office space looking over Lake Wakatipu, means yes you can pop out at lunch for a quick bike ride or trail run, how good is that!So who are you:This role is ideal for someone from a tech or start up environment, someone who has experience working in driven, fast paced, game changing companies.You might be from an agency or tech background or have worked with a variety of brands who have strong stories to tell- digitally.2+years experience in copywriting - ideally from a marketing/branding/digital agency or consumer brand.
Experience in journalism, web content or digital content creation would be a huge plus
Experience in working on growth marketing or digital teams, ability to work alongside digital content producers.
Proactive, driven, independent, and reliable
Great communication skills and a team player.
