Peng Hao Company Limited a is looking for THREE full-time Cook to join our Gisborne team, mainly responsible for cooking Chinese meals, such as Szechuan style cuisine, Tender Beef with Oyster Sauce, Fried rice, Egg Fu Yeong, Choi Mein etc.This is a permanent full-time position. You will work 30-40 hours per week on the roster (minimum 30 hours ) with an hourly rate of $29.66-32.00, depending on your skills qualification and work experience.At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.You are not required to have work experience; we will also provide training when you start the job.  No qualification is required as well. However, knowledge /qualification in preparing and cooking Chinese meals will be an advantage. Key duties will include:·         Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment ·         Check quality of ingredients ·         Collaborate with other kitchen staff to prepare food items during dining hour ·         Maintain accurate food inventories and place orders when there are shortages ·         Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures ·         Rotate stock items as per established procedures ·         Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts ·         Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift ·         May require performing additional tasks outside this list.  If you believe you are the person we are looking for please do not hesitate to apply by sending your CV and cover letter.Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
