We are now looking for an enthusiastic Cook to work within our Palmerston North Production Kitchen. With a minimum of 30+ hours and lots more to pick up you will be working Sunday to Friday (rostered shifts). Preparing bulk meals for university students Assist with ordering and stock rotation Complying with Food safety standards Assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties You will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. You will already have some experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen with large scale production and / Catering experience. Ideally you hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to train for one. The role involves standing for the the shift and lifting, so physical fitness is a must. Confidence to work independently and to specifications. Most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for food, excellence in the workplace and meeting / exceeding quality standards.
