About The Team RATA is established within Waipa District Council and works under service contract with Co-Lab to provide more advanced services for councils throughout the Waikato Region than could be achieved independently.
The RATA team is based in Lakewood, Cambridge, and we enjoy the flexibility to work from home several days per week. In this role, you will support the achievement of RATA's Strategic Objectives in the delivery of contracts and projects for the Waikato councils. This will be achieved through:
Management and delivery of the collaborative contracts for the region, specifically:Data Collection ContractsStructure Inspection Contracts (SAMS)RATA Investigation projectsDevelop and enhance trusting, collaborative relationships with partner councils, suppliers and key stakeholders.Work with the RATA Asset Information Team in a proactive approach to asset data collection for the region. About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
A relevant tertiary qualification (preferably within Civil Engineering contract management),A successful background in contract management &/or project management (ideally related to Transport infrastructure),Stand-out interpersonal and negotiation skills to excel at engaging with our suppliers and partner councils,An efficient and analytical approach to problem-solving to manage the range and scope of RATA's projects.What's on Offer?
