Contract Manager

We're looking for a candidate to this position in an exciting company.

Operational and financial management of maintenance and minor construction contracts and projects
Manage existing clients, be the liaison with clients, address technical issues and ensure quality management
Be involved in pre and post-award contract management.
Be the primary point of contact with our customers for contractual issues.
Ensure proposal preparation and programme execution are focused on production efficiency, risk mitigation, effective change management, and timely issue resolution.
Lead the Contract team and undertake manager responsibilities driving our genuine people focus

BE or NZCE or significant industry experience
Understanding of job pricing including materials, labour and plant and associated margin / profit calculations
Familiar with contract legislation and standards i.e.: NZS 3910, Construction Contracts Act
Understanding of operational management including Human Resources, Financial, Administration, Technical (engineering) and Constructability
Advanced computer literacy, keyboard and file management skills
Keep up to date with industry practices
promote innovation and continuously seek to improve work procedures
Clearly understand the customer expectations and requirements
