Contract Management Officer

Our client is looking for a Contract Management Officer to join their team and support the improvement of Workplace Health and Safety as a government department.
On offer is an initial contract until the end of June 2019 with potential extensions available.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain vendor and contract management framework in alignment with WoG Contract Management Frameworks.
Build strong relationships with the Procurement Team to assist in developing a strategic approach to Vendor and Contract Management.
Prepare high level policy papers, submissions, briefs and reports on complex procurement and contract issues.
Develop and implement Technology Business Management practices.
Establish, negotiate and monitor SLA/KPIs, vendor plans and service credits for all vendors.
Maintain accurate and up to date contracts and maintenance registers.
Lead the analysis of procurement patterns, performance and key supply markets.

Essentials
5+ years of experience as an SME to business areas on contract management, project teams and vendors to apply and execute use of contract management strategies.
Demonstrated experience in strategy - leading security strategy, architecture and tools.
Ability to lead process improvement by promoting implementation of new tech, solutions and methods.

Desirables
QLD Gov. Level 4 Purchasing Certificate or equivalent
Experience in the use of Benefits Realisation concepts
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management techniques
