Contract Financial Manager / Controller

The Opportunity Opportunity for an experienced senior accountant or finance manager to work directly under a seasoned CFO on a 12 month fixed term basis to provide the business with support on both its BAU functions and also project work. This will be a 360 degree financial leadership role which will see you working across all areas of the organisation, engaging with a broad range of financial and operational stakeholders, allowing you to build a strong personal brand amongst the business. The Role Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to support organizational objectives. Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, statements, and analyses for management review and regulatory compliance. Manage cash flow effectively to ensure liquidity and support operational needs while maximizing returns on investments. Implement cost-effective strategies and measures to optimize expenditure and enhance profitability. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, standards, and policies while maintaining strong internal controls and governance frameworks. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including senior management, departments, and external partners, to drive financial transparency, accountability, and alignment with strategic objectives. Your Profile Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager within a medium-larger commercial business Solid understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in financial software and tools, along with advanced MS Excel skills.
