Contract Data Analyst March 28, 2024 Calling all Data Contractors with Python, R and Power BI! 6-month rolling contract role – 18 month runway 880.00 per day GST About the Role: Our client is looking for a Data Analyst to work on a Risk & Compliance uplift and a wider Target Operating Model project. This is a pivotal role that involves cleansing, transforming, and analyzing large datasets to unearth trends and inconsistencies crucial for strategic decision-making. By developing automated processes for data extraction and creating compelling visualizations, you'll play a key role in shaping our client's business strategy and operational excellence. What you will be doing: Perform data cleansing, transformation, and analysis to identify trends and inconsistencies in large datasets. Develop and maintain automated processes for efficient data extraction. Translate business requirements into analytical insights to inform strategic decisions. Utilize Power BI or similar tools to create insightful data visualizations and dashboards. Conduct ad-hoc analyses for periodic reporting and strategic projects. Ensure data quality through ongoing monitoring and evaluation for accuracy and consistency. Key Skills and Experience: Over 5 years experience as a data analyst. Proficiency in SQL for comprehensive data manipulation and querying. Skilled in Python or R for data analysis, scripting, and visualization tasks. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and familiarity with ETL processes. Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
