Details of the offer

Join this large government organisation as they roll out a number of programmes in the construction space. As an experienced contracts administrator you will utilise your skill set and support the procurement function on the project.
This is a country wide programme offering opportunities for progression for the right person. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a contract administration, procurement advisor or similar role.
In this role you will:
Primarily assist the team with contract variations and other administrative tasks. Maintain an active electronic archive of the tender documentation to comply with procurement audit obligations.Provide general support to the team as needed throughout the course of their duties.The ideal person will posses:

A strong foundation in administrative tasks Ideally, have worked within a government environment, navigating its unique protocols and demandsEagerness to learn and grow, continuously expanding their knowledge of procurement and the construction and infrastructure industry.Experience with contract administration, contract extensions and variations
This is a 12 month hourly rate contract position within a government department. Successful applicants are required to undergo police vetting and will need to be New Zealand citizens or Residents.
