Contracts Administration (Administration & Office Support)The position of the Contracts Administrator is a key role in the management team for the Road Maintenance Contracts in Northland. You will be providing support to the team and helping to deliver work for customers safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard.As a Contract Administrator, you are responsible for customer service (internal/ external), documentation, administration, record keeping, reporting, and information management systems.The key focus areas of this role will be in:Customer Communications & Management of Work Requests.RAMM Administration & ideally be capable of developing into a local "super-user" / software champion.Performance tracking & Continuous improvement.Contract Reporting i.e. Monthly / Weekly / Governance.Monthly claim & financial administration i.e. PO's, accounts payable / receivable etc.General support admin to the teams i.e. meeting minutes, plant, training etc.Experience and attributes;Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working on construction and maintenance contracts or similar. Other attributes include:Sound numerical skills and an understanding of job costingExperienced user of the Microsoft suite of programmes, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.Ability to develop and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, clients & subcontractorsTechnical knowledge of construction and the contracting Industry is desirableExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalKnowledge of general accounting/account balancingExperience using RAMM DatabaseClass 1 drivers' licenseStrong attention to detail & problem solving skillsAbove all, you will be a self-motivated team player, who uses their initiative, manages their time effectively across tasks and consistently meets deadlines with limited supervision.
