Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Content Writer to join our team at Viacom in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in content writing or a related field.

Responsibilities:- Create engaging and high-quality written content for various platforms, including websites, social media, newsletters, and marketing materials- Conduct research on industry trends and produce content that is relevant and informative- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies and campaigns- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and consistency- Stay up-to-date with best practices in content writing and SEO- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative ideas for content development- Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to think critically and problem-solve creatively- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems- Experience in digital marketing and social media management is a plus- Familiarity with SEO best practices- A portfolio of writing samples demonstrating your skills and experience
