Content ProducerAre you an experience and creative designer looking for an opportunity like no other? About the role:The New Zealand First Leader's Office is looking for a Content Producer to join their team based at Parliament in Wellington for 40 hours pw. Working collaboratively with other Leader's Office staff you'll create digital content to effectively communicate, develop and build public support for the New Zealand First Parliamentary team's vision and ideas. What you will bring to the role:A minimum of three years' experience in a content production roleFamiliarity with both Windows and Mac software applicationsA working knowledge of digital trends, tools and technologiesDemonstrated project management skills, ideally with agile methodologies;Effective planning, coordination and time-management skills, with ability to multi-task, prioritise workflows and meet deadlinesExcellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to compose clear written communicationsStrong relationship management and interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of people and organisationsFlexible and adaptable, calm under pressureAn interest in politics and the work of the NZ First PartyResponsibilities:Regularly initiate and plan digital content holistically across all digital channels (social, design, web and email)Work closely with other members of the NZFLO to ensure consistency of all digital content and communicationsEnsure reliable and repeatable digital content workflows and team processes are created and followedRegularly monitor, review, and adapt digital content approaches to maintain the maximum impact of digital contentMonitoring the digital content of other political parties and relevant organisationsInitiate, plan and undertake photo opportunitiesInitiate, plan and undertake graphic and print contentInitiate, plan and undertake video and audio contentProviding digital advice and support to all members of NZF Parliamentary Office Why work for Parliamentary Service?We offer a range of benefits including 5 weeks' annual leave, an eye and hearing subsidy, and an annual well-being payment.You will receive an induction from Parliamentary Service to set you up to succeed, as well as having access to ongoing learning, development, and professional networking opportunities.We are proud of He Ao Takitaki (our Te Ao Maori strategy); we offer karakia, waiata, and reo Maori opportunities along with opportunities through other staff networks.Our core values are at the heart of how we work: Integrity, Manaakitanga, Accountability, Whanaungatanga, and Empowerment. All employees who work for MPs are employed on an 'events-based' agreement, with your employment linked to your MP. This role is based at the Parliamentary precinct in Wellington for 40 hours per week.
