Our Radiology Department is currently seeking applications from a Consultant Radiologist to bring its team up to full strength.

The region has a population of approximately 46,000 and is well known for its relaxed lifestyle and its beautiful rural and beach environments. Local schools are excellent and real estate is affordably priced. Gisborne Hospital, commissioned in 1986, is modern, spacious and attractive. The Radiology Department is small and dynamic, offering Digital General X-ray (DR), Ingenia 1.5T MRI, Aquilion 64 slice CT, Echocardiography, Digital Mammography and Ultrasound. The department operates the Philips RIS/PACS.

Applicants with an interest and experience in mammography would be desirable. To be considered for this role you must be either registered or eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Relocation assistance is provided.
