Service: Dental and Oral Health We are looking for Specialist Paediatric Dentist with recent dental experience in a hospital setting and with a post-graduate specialist paediatric qualification. Thisrole will provide high quality paediatric dentistry care in clinic and intheatre for those who require hospital dentistry, the majority of whom aretreated as a day cases or clinic appointments. The Paediatric Dentistry team provides comprehensive preventiveand therapeutic oral health care for infants and children through adolescence,including those with special health care needs. This encompasses all dentalcare and may include management of caries, periodontal disease, trauma and/orgrowth problems and dentition and occlusal development. It also includesmanagement of the dental problems for children who may have developmental,behavioural or medical disabilities, and care for some older patients who havedisabilities. The Dental and Oral Health Service is staffed by a team ofclinical and non-clinical staff who provide a strong commitment to the Serviceand demonstrate expertise in delivering care to the specialised patient group.
