The Taranaki Eye Centrewww.taranakieye.co.nz is a privately owned Ophthalmology clinic which delivers both public and private health services to the region using the most up-to-date equipment and technology. Our fantastic clinical team consists of threeNew Zealand trained Consultant Ophthalmologists, two Registrars,a Clinical Ophthalmic Nurse and anOrthoptist who all work closely together.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, vocationally registered Ophthalmologist (FRANZCO, American board of Ophthalmology, FRCSC, FRCOphth) to work in a comprehensive Ophthalmology role. We would be happy to consider candidates that are currently in training posts and seeking employment within twelve months.The job size is flexible from 0.5 -1.0 FTE, along with participating in an on-call roster. This role has opportunities for both public and private work, and will include weekly outpatient clinics, operating sessions, and reviewing inpatients.
