Are you ready for an exciting opportunity as a Consultant Nephrologist in sunny Northland? We seek a Renal Physician to join a 7 physician team in a full-time permanent position. This role offers a competitive salary and an excellent relocation package.    This position is based in a prominent regional secondary care hospital serving a growing population of more than 190,000 in a scenic coastal location with exceptional schools and affordable housing, just under 2 hours drive from Auckland.   You will provide Specialist Nephrology services including medical assessments on patients with end stage renal failure, supervision of  patient care on ESRF programmes, and assessment and management of patients with kidney diseases. You will also perform renal biopsy and tunnelled dialysis line insertion.     Preferred Requirements: Expertise in nephrology with a passion for delivering equitable healthcare Dedication to improving and developing services to meet population needs Real enthusiasm for teaching and a collaborative team player Eligible for specialist (or locum tenens) registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand in Internal Medicine FRACP or an equivalent qualification   Remuneration salary paid in accordance with national pay scales for senior medical officers (NZ$ 190,000 -270,000 pa), basic 40 hour week Additional allowances for on call duties Pension benefits (if eligible) Study leave allowance No National Insurance deductions reimbursement of costs of obtaining medical licence and APC relocation package for international candidates on-going professional support including continued medical education; professional development and peer review Interested?Please apply with a recent CV if you meet the above requirements or contact us for further information.   #J-18808-Ljbffr
