Construction Worker

We are looking for three full-time Construction Workers in the construction field to perform routine tasks to the company quality standards in Wellington. Ideal candidates must have the followings: - Ability to work under pressure on a busy construction site. - Strong commitment to safe work practices. - Be hard-working, reliable, and motivated. - Able to deal with unexpected events and make decisions. - Can work well and efficiently both unsupervised and within a team. - Physically fit the job and can work outdoors in the hot and cold seasons. - Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime Job Responsibilities: Follow the instruction from the builder and/or the site supervisor. Assist and work alongside builders, painters and tilers. Remove old paints and wallpaper, fix woodwork and smooth the surface. Apply tiling or carpentry jobs followed by builder's directions. Load and unload building and construction materials, tools and equipment. Mix, pour and spread construction materials such as concrete and plaster. Involving plan reading, and apply correct renovation jobs along with builders and other team members. Maintain an effective and tidy working area. Work with and/or remove hazardous material. Performs routine tasks in erecting and repairing structures and facilities on building and construction sites. In return we will offer: A stable position in Wellington.
