Wellington Hockey Association (WHA) is a non-profit regional sports organisation that provides quality hockey programming at all levels throughout the Wellington region. Our Strategic Plan infuses everything we do, from first-time players to performance athletes, from coaches to umpires. Overall, WHA serves over six thousand hockey enthusiasts every year and operates and manages six turfs around the greater Wellington region. The Competitions & Communications Officer is responsible for the delivery of all WHA competitions including Winter Open Grade, Secondary School, Junior and Summer Competitions (excluding Masters). This role is takes the lead in all Wellington Hockey communications in conjunction with the wider team. Success in the role will look like: Draws and results published in a timely manner for both the season and week(s) ahead. Correspondence with stakeholders is clear, proactive and informative. All queries are dealt with in a prompt, clear and friendly manner. A position description is available upon request.
