Weare a proactive team providing the highest standard of care for our patients.We pride ourselves on being friendly and supportive, and work in a busyinter-disciplinary environment focusing on promoting, encouraging and enablingthe health, well-being and independence of the people in our community.
Thisposition has a specific focus on stroke rehab, and will be placed within theCommunity Rehabilitation Team.
The hours for this role are 40 hoursper fortnightworking Monday - Friday.
Ko wai he kaitono totika? (Who is anappropriate applicant?) You will have at least two yearspost-qualification experience, NZ registration in Occupational Therapy, acurrent practicing certificate and a range of generalist and specialist skills.
Additionally, you will bring thefollowing:
The ability to work autonomously andcollaboratively, within the inter-disciplinary team. Effective communication andinterpersonal skills. Strong clinical reasoning skills anduse of evidence informed practice. Effective time management andorganisational skills. ComplexHousing and Level 1 Wheelchair Enable accreditation are welcome, but notessential. You will also be adaptable to change,resourceful and flexible to service needs, and will have a genuine passion forworking with patients in the community on their health journey.
