About the role Achieving the best health outcomes for our patients starts with expecting the best from ourselves, and right now Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau is looking for a motivated Community Mental Health Social Worker to join our General Adult Team at the Community site based in Kamo, Whangarei.
The community mental health service provides community based assessment and treatment services to people, including those presenting with alcohol and drug issues, through both community follow-up and outpatient clinics. This service also provides the crisis response for mental health, dual diagnosis and clinical rehabilitation.
Working with a passionate, multi-disciplinary team who place great value on putting people first, you will have the standard of clinical practice and expertise necessary to effectively provide for tangata whaiora and whanau needs within the service here in Northland.
Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.
This is a permanent 1.0 FTE role working 40 hours per week.
