Look no further! · 0.8 FTE (permanent role based in Greenlane Clinical Centre Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity An exciting opportunity awaits a lactation consultant to join our Women's Health Community Lactation team!
You will be instrumental in delivering a high-quality lactation service in anoutpatient environment providing primary, secondary, and tertiary level care with approximately 6,500 births per annum. This team provides expert lactation care and support and leads the implementation and evaluation of the annual lactation plan.
In this role you will promote, improve and provide safe quality maternity care that meets the need of women and their whanau. You will also be providing antenatal, postnatal and breastfeeding/lactation education to wahine and whanau of Te Toka Tumai.

We are looking for the following:
· NZ Midwifery registration and annual practising certificate
· Experience with BFHI standards
· Ability to mentor and teach others on lactation and breastfeeding
· Knowledge of quality improvement principles and processes
· Experience in use of evidence-based practice and improvement methodologies including clinical audit, critical appraisal and research skills
