As a Community Funding Advisor, you'll take responsibility forefficiently managing and executing the Grants and Fundraising procedures for the Council. This involves actively engaging with and involving all key stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and update all funding-related documentation, including policies, processes, forms, templates, and promotional materials.Administer Community Service Agreements on behalf of the Council.Monitor the accountability and financial procedures for all community grants and service agreements.Keep a comprehensive record of all grants and funding activities within the Directorate and provide annual reports to the Council.Ensure compliance with application and accountability requirements for grants secured from external funders.Offer guidance to the community, NGOs, and Council regarding both internal and external funding processes.To excel in this role, candidates ideally should possess:Level 2 NCEA or equivalent qualification.A valid driver's license.Experience in fundraising and administration of community grants.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional customer service abilities.Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.Proficiency in monitoring, analysing, and managing financial information.Please note, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.We will be interviewing applications as we receive them and may close the role when we have found the right person.About UsJoin the dynamic team at Napier City Council, where we pride ourselves on excellence, integrity, and sustainability, while delivering exceptional customer and community service.
