At WellSouth we want the best health outcomes for our Southern region.The Communications and Engagement Team have a vacancy for a passionate, experienced communications advisor to help our mission – build trust, engage better with our community particularly Maori and Pasifika and cut through the jargon.We need a self-starter who is as comfortable imagining up engaging social media content as writing long-form people stories. You should be a pro with digital platforms, understand audience orientation and channels, and enjoy collaboratively problem solving the best way to communicate something new.You'll be a valued member of a small comms and engagement team, based full-time in Dunedin, a great little city with a vibrant student nightlife and beautiful surf beaches with lots of wildlife.We work across the organisation and sector to inform key stakeholders on what's new, identify positive publicity opportunities, reduce reputational risk and create campaigns for new health programmes.More than a wordsmith, we want your ideas, initiative and your multimedia talents to effectively land messages and have big impact.Please note that we don't always work to fixed closing dates & may interview candidates as their applications are received.Applications must include a CV, and a cover letter.WellSouth Primary Health Network is an equal opportunity employer.
