You will also have: A relevant Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations or a related field.At least three to five years' experience in a similar communications role.An understanding of the central and local government operating environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Confidence working across a large, fast-paced organisation and with community organisations, groups and businesses.A track record of meeting tight deadlines work.A positive solution focused approach, and ability to work as part of a team.Knowledge of Te Reo Maori and an in-depth understanding of The Treaty of Waitangi would be an advantage.Ko wai matou | Who we areToi Moana Bay of Plenty Regional Council is responsible for land, air and water as well as public transport and economic development.
