About the opportunity | Te whai waahi We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Manager to join our Palmerston North team where you will lead our commercial efforts with expertise and rigor.
In this newly created role, you will partner with our R&D and Innovation Senior Leadership teams as you provide expert and rigorous commercial support to optimise and enhance the value generated by our innovation strategy and R&D activities.
You will also:
Partner with targeted individual Innovation projects and programmes to ensure commercial rigour and achievement of value creation goals is occurring.Provide as-needed commercially expert and rigorous support across Fonterra's innovation and R&D communitySupport in the preparation of the I&B annual budget and business plan.Design and implement a post implementation review programme for Innovation projects and programmes Please note, this role will require you to be based on-site in Palmerston North however as you will still be an integral part of the Auckland based Finance & Commercial team, there will also be travel to Auckland once a fortnight. About you | Moe koe We're looking for a naturally analytical and inquisitive person with significant experience within finance or commercial management type roles. With a proven ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders, you'll also have strong corporate awareness and business acumen and an ability to work within a fast paced and complex financial environment.
Ideally with previous experience within consumer or innovation, you will enjoy working autonomously and be meticulous with your transparent and fact-based data as you provide trusted information to support complex decision making.
In addition, you will also:
Tertiary qualification in a commerce, accounting or finance discipline. CA/CFA qualifications are nice to have but not a necessityDevelop and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships that support influencing for value creation through enabling effective business partnering.
