We're looking for skilled Commercial Lending Manager to join our talented team. Your main responsibilities will be: Cultivate, nurture, and expand a diverse network of business referral partners and clients, fostering enduring relationships aligned with One Partner's revenue and credit quality objectives. Maintaining an understanding of all core products, lenders and new proposition. Progressively increasing the number of active commercial lending referral partner relationships and volume of commercial loan applications. Providing exceptional customer service in order to maintain a high level of integrity and enhancing the customer service culture we are known for Working with Business Managers on the progress of loan applications and ensuring proactive communication with commercial clients as required. Working with the Marketing Department, develop and manage a programme of events / networking to support development of commercial lending service. We are looking for someone who: At least three to five years' business development and lending experience in the NZ market. Has a proven ability to engage and collaborate with business owners and referral partners in the commercial lending space. Has a proactive, high-energy attitude geared toward independently seeking and cultivating business opportunities. Is committed to enhancing client relationships to drive portfolio growth and maximize opportunities. Has second-to-none time management skills; you'll be a natural self-starter with fine-tuned self-organisation skills. Is a true 'people person' - you will be able to build rapport and relationships at all levels. Has strong communication skills - verbal and written - and understands the importance of effective communication in all aspects of your role, from developing referral relationships to helping client and working with business managers during the loan process. Has strong knowledge of finance credit policy and processes and an understanding of relevant New Zealand laws.
