Commercial Finance Manager

Due to internal requirements, they are looking for a Project Accountant to be a part of their close-knit team and take leadership of the entire financial operations.  The role This is a full time multi-faceted role and would suit someone who possesses natural business acumen and strong accounting background. Primary focus of the role is supporting the senior management by taking ownership of the busy complex accounting procedures and providing them key financial information to plan and execute projects cost effectively.  The role further entails:  Cashflow forecasting, analysis, and project cost control Financial advisory to project managers, commercial and leadership team, and other external stakeholders Operational expenditure management and reporting  Preparation of monthly management accounts, payroll, and other transactional day to day tasks Budgeting and cost allocation/optimization  Month end reporting to leadership team Yearend accounting procedures, GST, Income tax, PAYE About you:  This sought-after opportunity will suit someone who has at least 3 years of finance/project accounting experience post CAANZ/ CPA certification and the capability to manage a fast-paced charge accounting function through projects, month end and year end processes. All whilst handling a variety of internal and external stakeholders from various professional backgrounds.
