What you'll DoThe Commercial Country Lead/Customer Development Manager has a remit to acquire new business logos for Mimecast NZ . This is a rich part of the technology market, and a space where cloud computing (SaaS) is becoming ever more prevalent and as such the Mimecast proposition resonates well. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in the commercial segment.
As a partner centric organization, Mimecast's Commercial Development Manager will be well supported by a strong team as well as our loyal partner community to build a pipeline of new business opportunities which grow our customer base in Australia. Experience in delivering innovative partner business plans and ensuring their success will be very well received. Well known for their product and competitive knowledge, passion, enthusiasm, all Mimecast employees have a responsibility to focus on customer delight. The team is required to uphold standards of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities: Achievement of monthly / quarterly / annual new business targets
Work closely with Channel Partners to drive incremental business and support their requirements from the partnership
Build and maintain relationships with existing customers
Business Administration –manage the reporting of the KPI's* and general CRM housekeeping
Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development
What you'll BringThe ideal candidate will have sales and technical experience that enables them to engage at the CXO level as well as with Senior IT Stakeholders and IT specialists. It is critical to be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory plan and consistently deliver on monthly and quarterly revenue and retention targets. The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated, strong team player with a proven track record of success in generating incremental business. A good understanding of the corporate technology stack as well as cloud computing will be beneficial. A strong work ethic is vital in this competitive marketplace. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast paced, agile but well-structured sales environment that has proven to be effective in other regions.
Essential Skills and Experience: Extensive IT sales experience (ideally within Email / Messaging / Security / Networking preferable - IT Sales essential)
Ideally with experience of both Direct & In-Direct sales roles.
Proven success in Australian Market
