With beginnings in New Zealand, this business now also has a presence in the US, UK and Australia. Due to continued growth, this business is now seeking to employ its first Commercial Business Partner, to ensure business profitability, by providing robust commercial practices, advice and support. Reporting to the Head of Business Transformation and Customer Success and working closely with all parts of the business, your role will be to help create this business' commercial management framework. You will support the costing and pricing of products and services, the development of fit for purpose contractual documents, for supporting/advising on the commercial negotiations with clients and partners, for establishing approaches for standard and non-standard deals and for leading/supporting the commercial relationship with stakeholder representatives. You will provide input into new business bids, advise on commercial risks and opportunities, and ensure product and service profitability. You will support the financial success of this business, while having the support of external professional advisors when required. To be considered for this role, you will ideally hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as accounting, business or law. You must bring with you previous high-quality and relevant financial, legal or commercial management experience, ideally gained from working in the IT, Telco or professional services sector. You will ideally have a mix of larger corporate experience (giving you exposure to best practice frameworks) and also smaller, more nimble commercial environments.
