Skills and Abilities Competencies… This role reports to and has full support from the Coldstore Manager where effective communication between the two roles is vital. You will need to be able to coordinate the team, obtain temporary assistance when needed, and plan container movement in and out of the coldstore to ensure safe and efficient working environment. It is a hands-on role where a watchful presence on the floor is required to ensure compliance with the TMP along with the ability of being able to cover in times of need e.g., forklift support Previous working knowledge of cold stores and blast freezers and supply chain management. Background working in a food environment and associated food regulations would be an advantage. Communicate with both internal and external customers. Systems knowledge. Any reference to XIMS, Scanners, RMP, Excel, Damstra (H&S Package), Pro Docs (export packages) is an advantage. About you… You must have experience in this line of work and comfortable with the use of various computer systems. Absorb instruction being able to communicate this effectively to the team. Patient and remain calm under pressure. Flexible? This is a seasonal business, and hours can vary at times. Enjoy working with a diverse and interesting group of people so require the ability to communicate at all levels? Hold a valid OSH forklift license. Are a New Zealand resident.
