The Role Our client is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Lead to drive the development, deployment and maintenance of Cloud Platform solutions across the business. This newly established role will help with the implementation of a cloud infrastructure modernisation project and transition the business from onprem to cloud. The role will also champion the overall Cloud Technology strategy and roadmap working directly with various teams across the business to help define what the problems are and help lift the understanding of what is possible. This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in South East Auckland. ** Due to our client's requirements, we can only consider candidates that are currently based in Auckland, NZ, with existing work rights. ** Key Requirements Senior level experience as a hands on Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Minimum three years experience at Lead or Manager level Five years experience designing and executing Cloud Infrastructure with either AWS, Azure Five years experience using IaC tools like Terraform, Azure Resource Manager and/or AWS Cloud Formation Knowledge of cloud storage services e. AWS S3, Azure Blob and DBs Understanding of container technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, security groups and VPNs Experience in Windows and Linux server administration Understanding of cloud security best practices for identity Management, encryption and monitoring.
