The role also encompasses advanced simulation skills, including pre-briefing, simulation facilitation and debriefing for the purposes of education, quality improvement and system/process testing throughout the organisation giving you the opportunity to work across all levels of the organisation from a wide variety of disciplines. A quality aspect of the role includes regular auditing, and data collection to improve compliance and systems throughout the hospital in relation to emergency management equipment and processes. Reporting to the Deteriorating Patient Forum. It will go without saying that you will have an in-depth knowledge of Emergency/Resuscitation procedures. You will also be required to gain NZRC certification to instruct NZ Resuscitation Council framework.
