Clinical Team Leader - MHSOP - Community Team · Great support from a cohesive senior leadership teamAwhi Matua Mental Health Services for Older People is a community team, based at Greenlane Clinical Centre. We provide specialist assessment and treatment for adults aged 65 years and over who are experiencing mental illness and/or cognitive change. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to optimise the function and wellness of older adults with the aim of supporting them to continue to live as independently and meaningfully as possible.Our team provide assessment, treatment and management of complex health needs in collaboration with service users and their whanau.In this role, you will join a supportive peer group of other Clinical Team Leaders and Charge Nurses across our mental health services. The role includes both clinical and operational leadership reporting to the Operations Manager and working collaboratively with the Service Clinical Director and in partnership with the Lead Clinician.You will be a self-motivated and conscientious clinician with strong leadership skills and a robust background working in mental health. You will bring a strong desire to work with the older population, a positive attitude, flexibility and a proven ability to form good relationships with staff, service users and their whanauIn return, we can offer you a supportive and interesting working environment with committed team and good opportunities for on-going professional development.We welcome applications from experienced NZ registered Mental Health Nurses, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers.A full and clean driver's license is required.This is a permanent, full time role, Monday to Friday position.We are  Health New Zealand - Te Toka Tumai Auckland.
