Currently offering a unique and exciting opportunity in a Dunedin Central clinic for a Clinical Psychologist. The successful candidate will become a valued member of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physiotherapists, pain specialists, orthopedic specialists, GPs, occupational therapists, and administrators.

The role involves working on various contracts, including concussion, pain management, psychology services, training for independence, and the escalated care pathway. As the Senior Psychologist, you will engage with a diverse range of clients, addressing issues such as persistent pain, adjustment to physical injury, anxiety, low mood, trauma, and relationship difficulties.


Key Tasks: Triaging referralsActing as a team leader for psychologistsMentoring and trainingConducting thorough assessments with sound clinical reasoningProviding evidence-based psychological inputCollaborating with the multidisciplinary teamEnsuring timely completion of clinical reports and referrer letters
Desired Skills and Experience: Three years of experience in Clinical PsychologyBachelor's qualification in PsychologyFull registration with the New Zealand Psychologists Board as a Clinical Psychologist Current Annual Practicing Certificate, Professional Body Membership, and Indemnity InsuranceExcellent communication skillsAbility to work well in a multidisciplinary teamCompassion, respect for diversity, and strong ethical valuesHighly organised with efficient time-management skillsExcellent written communication skills
