We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary team which provides recovery support and treatment to people in West Auckland. This is a 12 mth Fixed Term role due to Parental Leave
This autonomous position works closely with the other clinical psychologists from West Adult Mental Health services, and provides essential psychology consultation to the team, as well as assessment, therapy, groups and care coordination.
We are looking to recruit a Clinical Psychologist with:
• Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
• Proven psychological, psychometric and neuro-psychological assessment skills
• Experience working within a DBT framework (preferable) and/or in other particular evidence based interventions and therapy modalities
• Sound skills in mental health assessment, treatment and safety planning
• The ability to work autonomously, ideally with some experience in care coordination
The Clinical Psychologist role is supported by a professional senior and a professional advisor within Mental Health Services.
