About the role:
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a mental health nurse wishing to advance their career as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) based in Puna Poipoi, which is a medium secure forensic rehabilitation setting.
You will provide clinical expertise, working alongside registered nurses to improve the effectiveness of care in this area of specialty practice, with a particular focus on forensic rehabilitation.
Our three forensic rehabilitation units have a focus on developing skills to maximise independence and social inclusion, and work in one rehabilitation pathway continuum. As such, you will work closely with the CNS based in Puna Taunaki/Puna Whiti, which are our minimum secure forensic rehabilitation units.

Flexibility of hours within a Monday-Friday framework

Requirements:
Be an experienced nurse with three or more years of experience
Have completed, or are completing, a post graduate certificate in a relevant programme of study
Be creative and have a real passion for the principles of recovery and rehabilitation
Have a keen interest in the professional development of the workforce
Be innovative with a passion for change management
