In this enriching leadership position, you'll oversee and provide comprehensive primary care/GP nursing services as a Nurse Team Lead.
Perks and Benefits: Work part-time (24 hours p.w.)
Monday to Friday role for work-life balance
No overtime or after-hours work, with clinic hours starting at 8.00am and closing at 5.00pm
Work within your local community, fostering a sense of belonging
No shift work or rotating rosters
Your Responsibilities: Lead the nursing team with responsibility for their management and support,
Guide and facilitate clinical and practice enhancements,
Coordinate and enhance nursing services within the practice,
Ensure patients receive top-notch care from the nursing team,
Demonstrate leadership through openness to change and high professionalism,
Ensure compliance with legal standards,
Aid the Practice Manager in human resources and financial reporting and claims.
Skills and Experience: NZ registered nurse with a current APC
Previous leadership or relevant experience in primary care or general practice (advantageous)
Certification in screening, immunizations, and smears
Collaborative team player with a proactive approach
Resilient and composed when handling complex situations
Exceptional rapport-building abilities with colleagues, patients, and whanau
