The Nurse Educator facilitates, coordinates and participates in clinical learning activities and nursing professional development programs. They provide systematic guidance to reduce the gap between nursing theory and practice and are key to improving the quality of nursing care and enhancing the patients' level of satisfaction.
You will provide nursing leadership and act as a resource for new and experienced staff, working alongside the CNM and ACNM team, and will ensure robust learning plans are in place. Your skills will include those of facilitator, change agent, consultant and leader.

This role facilitates the progression of current education resources, as well as the development of future strategic growth. So, if you are a Registered Nurse with extensive medical nursing experience and a passion for education we would love to hear from you.
Your broad knowledge and extensive experience will place you perfectly as an educational resource for the team. This will allow you to coach and support the clinical learning of the nursing team while promoting evidence-based practice. You will be supported through close collaboration with the Nursing Director and Senior Nursing team within Mental Health and the wider cluster. This Nurse Educator role includes developing and strengthening current education resources and delivery of programs, as well as supporting individual learning plans.
An expert nurse who either holds, or is working towards, a relevant post graduate qualification.
